So, I've been teaching you kids that you need to read the Bible everyday.
I used the example of how we as humans need to eat 3 times a day... every day!
If we ate our meals like we read Bible on Sunday... We'd just be eating a salad on Sunday morning... maybe a chicken sandwich... and for the rest of the week;
WE.WOULD..BE...STARVING!!!!!!!!!
And that's the same with reading Bible! It's one of the ways we feed our spirit. We need God's word to fuel us. Doing God's Word also fuels and feeds us, but if we don't read it, how are supposed to know what to do?
You also might be thinking: "Well, I'm busy applying the lesson about obeying my parents from 2 years ago! Why do I have to keep reading if it takes so long to learn a lesson well?"
Because... In order for you to remember what you are supposed to do everyday ... you need to be constantly reminded. That's probably why you're still having trouble obeying all the commands from all your authorities.
By reading everyday, you are creating reminders in yourself that are part of your mind. You are building those lessons into your conscience and spirit. This is God's way of telling you when your thoughts are going the wrong way and you need to make a better decision that is more Christlike.

My point?
Read your Bible everyday! Write down all the lessons you learn and think of how you can use them that day.
